Privacy policy — DocDrift
Effective 2026-11-02 · Last updated 2026-11-02
DocDrift is operated by İsmail Efe Terlemez, an individual based in Turkey ("we"). This page explains what data the service handles and why.
What we collect
- Your email address, used to sign you in with one-time links and to send service emails.
- Access tokens for the accounts you connect, stored encrypted and used only to do what you set up.
- The changelog and help-center URLs you enter
- Text of the public help-center pages and changelog entries we fetch (public pages only, no login)
- Changes extracted from your changelog and the findings (quoted help-center passages) we show you
- Your subscription status (not your card details — Polar (polar.sh), our Merchant of Record holds those).
- Basic technical logs (time, request path, errors) kept to operate and secure the service.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Sub-processors
- Our hosting provider — runs the servers and the database that store your data
- Our email delivery provider — sends sign-in links and notification emails
- Polar (polar.sh) — Merchant of Record: processes payments, invoices and sales tax
- LLM provider (openrouter.ai) — processes the text the product analyses to produce its results
Retention and deletion
- Disconnecting an account on the Connections page deletes its stored tokens right away.
- Deleting your account on the Account page removes your account and all data we hold for it.
- Billing records are kept by Polar (polar.sh), our Merchant of Record as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion at any time by writing to us.
